Bronze medals
The u 10 # 1 squad brought home bronze medals from their tournament.
On July 15 against Lucknow, two goals in a shootout was the margin of victory after a 1-1 draw in regulation forced extra time. Owen Taylor finished with two goals while Luke Poppe added the other.
On July 16 against Brussels, Owen Gemmell was the lone scored in a 3-1 loss , but the team rebounded nicely to edge Blyth 3-2 on July 20. Owen Oliver, Colin Campbell and Gemmell scored, with a great assist turned in by Taylor Rolleman to put St. Columban ahead in the game. Later that day, Isaiah Sills and Campbell scored in a double- OT loss to Bayfield but in their third game of the day, edged Lucknow 3-2 to win the Bronze.
Goals were scored by Oliver, Cmapbell and Gemmell.
The coaches noted how proud they were of each player's performance throughout the entire week in extreme heat. Overall, the team worked well together to earn their bronze medals.
