The girls shook off the rust after a two week holiday and
took it to Coldstream playing most of the first half in the offensive end.
With 30 seconds left in the half, Sam Feeney and Nicole Feeney battled
hard to get Brittany Batten the ball and she made no mistake as she netted
the first goal. Mid way through the second, Melissa Chisholm redirected
a solid pass from Brooklyn Finlayson putting the visitors up by two.
With 30 minutes remaining, Jennifer Feeney was forced in to action.
Her aggressive net-minding style shut down the offensive attack and
earned her the shut out in her goaltending debut
