Tough loss for U9 girls
On Wednesday, June 24, the U9 girls travelled to the Taxandria Falcons pitch. With the sunny sky above and a light wind, it was a great evening for a match!
With Victoria in net, and our defence playing solid, it seemed that we may get the first goal. However, the Falcons with a quick turn-around notched the first point. Not long after, Ava darted down into Falcon territory and was able to tie the game. With the aggressive play of Taxandria, the girls held their own, but could not keep the Falcons off the scoresheet. The game final was 4-1 for the Falcons.
The girls gave everything they had and will not forget this game. They vow to be a stronger team when they meet again!
