U11 Girls Vs St. Mary's
On June 23, St. Columban hosted the St. Mary's squad. This was their first match-up of the season. The girls were able to keep the ball in St. Mary's end most of the game, but did have some break downs where the visitors nearly scored. Courtney opened the scoring, and ended the game with 2 goals. Another 2 goals came from Malina. Kiera notched a goal, by bringing the ball from the sidelines in and drilling a shot between the posts. Single markers came from Haylie, Hanna, Campbell.
Assists came from Dayna, Sheana, Kate, and Lilly. Many close chances by Erica, Sammy, and Alia.
Strong defence came from Meg, Sadie, Stephanie, Alia, Hanna, and Kiera. Final score 8-0 for St. Columban.
