U13 Boys head into Play-offs in First Place
Finishing only one point ahead of Clinton in regular season the boys would face them for the first play-off game. Carter Preszcator took charge right away scoring only minutes into the start of the game with Nathan Earl adding another seconds later.
Clinton proving to be a tough opponent sunk one in, ending the first half 2-1. Then red hot Reidy came alive again scoring two in the second half. St. Columban's defensive force of Owen Taylor, Owen Cronin, Isaiah Sills, Luke Poppe, Josh Bedour, Liam and Aidan Wilson as well as the speed and big kicks of mid-fielders Darren Feltz, Josh Ulch, Joey Hill and Cody O'Rourke was a wall that Clinton had a hard time breaking through. Some big saves from goalie Ben Tenhag keep the boys in the game. The final score was 4-1. Game two of round robin play-off action takes place in Lucknow on July 19th.
