Lack of Subs Didn't Slow Down U9 Girls
St. Columban U9 girls headed to Wingham for their first away game of the season. With a short roster the team called up some house league players. Playing seven on the field and no subs, the girls hustled to a 5-0 victory. Ella Brodhagen's pair of goals lead the team 2-0 into the second half. She then put one more in the net with Grace Kipfer following with a pair of her own. Late in the second half the girls were running out of steam but still managed to hold their ground. They all played a fantastic defensive game with Wingham unable to slip any by them. Great game ladies!
