July 6- St. Columban U11 Celtic Girls host South Huron #2.
A very hot July evening set the stage between our girls and South Huron #2. With Courtney and Campbell sharing time between the posts, both knew they would see action. With just four minutes into the match, Ava R was able to put the girls up by one. As the first half came to a close, Sammy, Ava R, and Abby were able to gain control, and slid a pass to Averi, for her first of the game. To round out the scoring, Ava R was able to get her second of the game, with a beautiful set-up pass from Lilly. St. Columban almost got their Fourth goal by Kate M on a break-away.
South Huron #2 did break the girls hope of a shut-out, but St.Columban pulled off the win 3-1!
