U12 girls VS Grand Bend
On Thursday, June 14 the girls hosted Grand Bend under sunny skies.
The girls came prepared for a fight, knowing that Grand Bend was yet to lose a battle this season. After many close calls at both ends, Jordyn was able to find the mesh after connecting with a beautiful pass from Margaret, giving St.Columban the lead. Not long after Grand Bend evened the score.
As the second half wore on, Abby with her speed, sped in on Grand Bend and put St.Columban ahead by one. The girls wanting the win, played hard, but Grand Bend was able to tie the game with minutes left to play.
Final score 2-2.
