On 9 July 2018, St Columban defeated South Huron 3 - 1 in St Columban. After losing teammate Ebony Kay on 3 July 2018, St Columban pulled together playing strong on a hot dry field. Sarah Klaver started scoring with a long pass from center back Kiera Driscoll. South Huron tied the game up with one just out of reach of goalie Kennedy Huether. Ariana Catalan sent the ball through a maze of South Huron players to make it 2-1. Girls found their passing in the 2nd half, Allysa Greidanus scored to make it 3-1. Kennedy Huether and Allysa Greidanus shared duties in net. The team wore their EK bands and new jersey's with pride. Bernadette Terpstra returned from an injury in May, almost scoring in the first 2 min's she was on the field.
