Volunteers- the Lifeblood of our Community
Submitted By Jason Dietz on Tue 05 21, 19
Sincere thanks goes out to our volunteers who took time from their holiday Monday to prepare our pitches for the start of the season. The work bee members included Nehru Budna, Jason Van der Velde, Dan Bachert, Jim O'Reilly, Jason Dietz, Ben O'Reilly and Steve Greidanus. Da bhoys hung the mesh on the goals, filled holes in the pitch with topsoil and dug up some poplar roots that had popped through the surface of the west field. The fields were inspected for safety of play as well. Many hands made the work  load light and the work was finished quickly. Our soccer club continues to grow! Our executive is taxed to the limit with duties. More volunteers are needed to sustain our mighty little soccer club. Please contact me if you are available to help in any way.
