  1. St. Columban Soccer Club
Registration 2022 - OSA, Local Travel, House League

St. Columban Soccer Club is a community based soccer organization that is committed to player development and fun for all skill levels. Our soccer club is looking to further develop our competitive program, our local travel soccer program, and our house league program. We are the home for soccer in Huron East and West Perth and our bordering municipalities. We are an inclusive organization that has a goal of providing the best soccer experience for players of all ages and all skill levels!

    • OSA teams require a higher level of commitment and skill. OSA teams may be required to travel over 60 mins drive time to attend a game. (program available to U12 and up - players born in 2011 or earlier). Typically 2-3 nights per week. Travel for games to London, St.Thomas, Woodstock, Strathroy, Stratford and Sarnia is expected. (https://emdsl.e2esoccer.com/)
    • Local Travel teams travel locally usually within 45 mins drive time. You can typically expect one practice and one game per week.
    • House League teams focus on fun and player development ; they play once a week in St. Columban (ages 3 to 13 yrs old). Our house league program runs on Monday nights from end of May to end of July.

This form is for players to register for the 2022 outdoor season for local travel and house league teams, and OSA teams if available. We are asking you to choose which program you wish to be involved in for 2022. This will help us determine number of players for various age groups and determine the number of teams we will be able to offer. For competitive teams, there will be tryouts if there is enough interest to field a team. If you select OSA level and there is no team for your age group, you will be placed on a local travel team.

U10 girls (2012/2013) and U16 girls (2006/2007) teams are now full! 2012/2013 girls are welcome to sign up for our Senior House League program.

A separate form must be submitted for each player. Our fees for 2022 are:
    - $55 for each house league player
    - $125 for each local travel (Tier 3) player
    - Tier 1/Regional OSA players will receive payment info from their coaches

  4. Rowan's Law Acknowledgement

    What is Rowan’s Law?

Rowan’s Law legislation was passed by the Ontario Government in 2018. This legislation is named in memory of Rowan Stringer who tragically died in 2013 of Second Impact Syndrome, the result of suffering multiple concussions playing rugby three times in six days. The legislation is designed to create a safer environment for competitive athletes, children and youth to play sport.

Knowing how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a concussion, and what to do if a concussion happens saves lives. The Ontario Government is committed to implementing Rowan’s Law by putting concussion safety information in the hands of people who need it most. Increasing awareness and changing conversations in sport, at school and in our homes, will result in a transformative change to the way in which concussions are managed in amateur competitive sport and beyond.

A participant is subject to a Concussion Code of Conduct for each Sports Organization they register with. The St. Columban Soccer Code of Conduct and the appropriate Concussion Awareness Resources MUST be reviewed before you can participate.
