St.Columban U 15 girls in Clinton sailed to a win over the home team 6-1.
Impressive work ethic by all and unselfish passing resulted in at least 3 of the goals.
Khloee E was set up by a fantastic corner kick by Natasha K and scored the first goal for St.Columban.
Later, Rachel K got a break away and stayed with the ball for the rebound and was able to sneak a second goal in the Clinton net. Just before the half time whistle, Clinton edged a controversial goal in the St Columban net.
The second half got off to a wet start following a heavy rain which soaked everything and everyone. St Columban's Emma F scored a goal then assisted the next goal scored by Madi M. Before the conclusion of the game, Amber R, and Khloee E each got one past the Clinton squad to finish the game 6-1 for St. Columban.
