St. Columban U 18 girls won their quarter final match against South Huron at home Wednesday August 10, 2016
It was a hard fought battle that could have went either way. The home team had good pressure early with plenty of chances. Maranda K would find the back of the net off a nice cross by Lexi T. St. Columban held on for the win in spite of some good pressure by the visiting team. Solid goal tending by Nicki VB as well as exceptional play by the defence would secure the win.
