U9 Boys Fill The Net - Leprechauns Spotted
The U9 Boys hit the twine 11 times on Tuesday night as they rolled to a 11-1 victory over Goderich1.
St.Columban dominated the first half keeping Goderich pinned in their own end and bunched together. The second half saw Goderich spread out and use the whole field better as they answered back with one. However, the constant pressure from St.Columban led to more goals later on in the half for the locals. Jackson D had an impressive game scoring 4 goals while Cohen M added a brace. Singles were scored by Ben O, Noah C, Cole W, James M and Colin S.
One of the boys mentioned in the warm up that our new Celtic style uniforms make them look like Leprechauns. They've even started yelling the name in our pregame chant. I have yet to see any rainbows or pots of gold during our games but I am starting to see some magic on the field.
