Hosting Goderich2 on May 26th, the U13 boys played a strong offensive game with numerous scoring chances including “break-out” shots from our own keeper but had a tough time getting it past the strong Goderich net minding. After
a scoreless first half, Carter S. found the net within seconds of
play in the 2nd half. Declan
C. also found the back of Goderich’s net to put them up 2. Carter S. put another
one in with the support of the team. With time running out Goderich did put one in and with only minutes left scored another on a tough penalty shot for first-time keeper Owen T. The boys showed great team-work & passing skills to record the 3-2 win.
