U12 Boys, 2018 (St. Columban SC)

On Tuesday, July 10th, the U12 Boys hosted Grand Bend.  The home team ended up winning the game 8-2.  James McCarthy earned a hat trick during the first half of the game, Kyle Mills scored a pair, and Vincent Voros, Jackson Dietz and Simon Gubelmann each added a single.   On Wednesday, July 11th, the boys traveled to London to take on Kensal Park. Despite playing shorthanded, the boys earned a W, with a final score of 5-2.  Alex Fell and Ben O'Reilly each scored twice, while Simon Gubelmann found the net once.  The boys were quite exhausted during the second half, due to the lack of subs, ...

The U12 Boys hosted North Middlesex on Thursday July 5th. Despite the short rain shower during the first half, the thunder and lightning were only evident on the score sheet as the home team won 6-0. First half goals were scored by Vincent Voros (2) and Darwin MacDougald.  In the second half, Jackson Dietz, Cole Wilson and Kyle Mills rounded out the score to 6 for the locals.  Jace Barnesky earned the shutout.

On Monday, June 11th the U12 Boys traveled to Lucan. Simon Gubelmann opened the scoring for the visitors, with Jackson Dietz giving them a 2-0 lead by half.  Vincent Voros put one past the keeper on a long shot from the corner, with a beautiful midfield kick by Brayden Glauser making it a 4-0 final score.  Jace Barnaski and Jackson Dietz shared the goal tending duties and earned the shut out.  

On Monday June 4th the U12 boys travelled to Grand Bend where they defeated the home team 8-1. The team was ahead 6-1 at half time. Cole Wilson had 2 goals, along with Jackson Dietz.  Singles were netted by Ben O’Reilly, Alex Fell, Vincent Voros and James McCarthy.  This was the third win of the season for the boys as they won against Kensal Park 8-0 the previous week.

On Monday, May 21st, the U12 Boys travelled to Nairn for the team's first away game.  St. Columban came out on top as they won the game 4-0.  Vincent Voros scored the first goal just 3 minutes into the game, Cole Wilson followed his lead a few minutes later, with Darwin MacDougald rounding out the scoring for the first half.  Voros once again found the net early in the second half from 40 yards out.
