A Windy Win
On May 31 St Columban U18 girls hosted Blyth Clinton. The visiting team played valiantly, down two players to start the game and three to finish. However the home St Columban squad would persevere with Maddie Hill scoring two and Claire Horan adding the single marker to secure a 3-0 victory. It was a cold, windy final night of May that felt more like November and the calibre of play was affected on both sides. Special thanks to Sarah Van Bakel and Bre Schoonderwoerd for playing goal in the cold. Also a shout out to Kiara Driscoll from St Columban U15 girls for helping out with a strong performance.
